A simple solution to a simple marketing goal: Get people to use a new Ikea app.
Goal: launch IKEA’s iPad catalog in Norway
Problem: Freezing weather, which generally leads to gloved fingers that can’t swipe at an iPad.
Solution: Create a new IKEA-esque product which let users stitch a conductive thread onto their gloves,allowing them to use touch screen devices.
Results: Buzz, media coverage and the IKEA Catalogue App become #1 in the Appstore
